Specially designed rhombic pattern surface contribute to ultrafineparticulation. This batch type mill requires no feeding pump and pipings, and all processing stages can be conducted with only one tank.
Conventional wet processing batch type media mills cannot afford to comply with Inoue Key Mill (batch type) functioning style as an enclosure-type media mill. An annular designed media mill, it fits 21st century high-technology industries well with its application of micro beads and big volume discharge.
The Inoue Key Mill (batch) flows beads and solid/liquid slurry to the dispersing area through utilization of a screw effect generated by a spike shaped rotor. Because centrifugal force is utilized, no energy is lost. A built in feature enables massive discharge, leading to wet milling and dispersion-up to ultra-fine-for small quantity and a variety of production requirements.
Pump and piping are not required. Only a mono-tank (single tank) is used for premixing, dispersion, adjusting and color matching.
Production plant adjustment to set the best peripheral speed allows the spike shaped rotor and variable speed to provide the best annular energy between 1-14m/sec to the slurry/mill base. It can choose micro beads as small as 0.1mm diameter, according to the mill base viscosity. The Inoue Key Mill (batch) selects a wide variety of screen for beads separation.
Users can select glass, alumina, titania, zirconia and a variety of other beads in diameter of 0.1-2.0mm as a standard. The charging ratio of beads is 80%-90% of vessel dispersion area.
