Supremely efficient multi-purpose mixer for mixing and kneading fine solids and liquid materials. The precisely designed clearance between a pair of open frame type blades and between the blades and the tank’s inner wall creates a strong shearing force, resulting in excellent mixing, kneading and dispersion.
The INOUE PLANETARY MIXER is a supremely efficient multi-purpose mixer for mixing and kneading fine solids and liquid materials.
The INOUE PLANETARY MIXER is constructed with a pair of open frame type blades (Patent No.933434). Each blade rotates on its own axis as well as in a planetary orbit. The precisely designed clearance between each blade and between the blades and the tank’s inner walls creates a strong shearing force, resulting in excellent mixing, kneading and dispersion.
Two types of INOUE PLANETARY MIXER are available: the PLM with one cylinder and the PLMG with two cylinders for head lifting.

Features
■Material viscosity
Materials with a wide range of viscosities can be mixed and kneaded, from 10Pa.s～6,000Pa.s (10,000～6,000,000cps.)
■Patented blade
The pair of open frame type blades (Patent No.933434) are precisely machined to maximize mixing and kneading efficiency in the tank.
■Interchangeable tank
The mixing tanks are interchangeable, enabling different batches to be produced with spare tanks which rationalize the production process. The tanks may be transported in many ways such as with castors, fork lift, tank porter, automatic transporter, etc.
■Planetary orbit
The planetary orbit of he precisely machined open frame type blades produces excellent kneading effects thus drastically shortening the time required.
■Cleaning
Compared with horizontal kneaders which support both ends of a horizontal shaft; the INOUE PLANETARY MIXER supports the top end of a vertical blade shaft. This construction facilitates ck\leaning and the interchangeable tank ensures safety.
■Material transfer
The inner surface of the tank is precisely machined to match INOUE RAM PRESS Ram type highly viscous materials press machines), which discharges 99% of material from the tank. Combined with the RAM PRESS, this automates material transport and saves energy.
■Vacuum operation
By using a vacuum type hood and mechanical seal, the INOUE PLANETARY MIXER can be operated under vacuum and decompressed conditions for low temperature boiling, deforming and dehydration.
■Cooling and heating
A tank jacket allows cooling and heating processes to be controlled.The tank jacket is standard for the PLM-2~PLM-50 models and optional fot other models.
■Tank fixing system
The tanks for the PLM models are fixed by manual clamps.The PMG models are fitted with hydraulic oil clamps.
■Safety device
A locking mechanism stops the blades rotating when the mixing blades are out of the tank.
■Options
A range of optional gauges and measuring instruments are available.
