Features
Impact force generated by specially shaped and arranged discs and beads contributes to the precise dispersion and microparticulation.
■Dispersion
➀L/D (ratio of inner cylinder length to diameter of vessel)is large; thus, compared to machines with the same capacity but smaller L/D ratios, the number of discs increase.This increases the grinding zone (chance of griding) and aids dispersion.
②D/d (ratio of inside diamerter of vessel to outside diameter of disc) is small; thus, the impact force of the beads is maintained, which aids dispersion.
③The disc outside diameter d is smaller than that of conventional machines; however, when the peripheral velocity is the same as that tof conventional machines, the centrifugal force is large, increasing the impact force and assisting dispersion.
Centrinfugal force=Mass(M)×Velocity²(V) / Disc radius(r)
④The disc is thick, which increases the grinding zone and assists dispersion.
⑤Disc arrangements are alternately changed, which reduces the material short path and assists dispersion.
⑥The maximum charging capacity of the beads is 85%; however, due to the dispersibility features described in 1-5 above, dispersibility is great even if the bead fill rate is reduced. This reduces running costs.
