The INOUE BALL MILL (SBM) crushes and disperses material. First, a drum filled with steel balls and the material is turned about a horizontal shaft. As the drum (mill) turns, the balls and material rise up before starting to cascade down. The strong impact of the falling steel balls crushes and disperses the material (wet/milling/dispersion).
