The Inoue Key Mill (continuous) can flow beads and solid/liquid slurry to the dispersing area utilizing a screw effect generated by a spike-shaped rotor. Its utilization of centrifugal force saves energy, enabling massive discharge as a built-in function to the pump. This leads to wet milling and dispersion up to ultra-fine.
Standardized and set to the best peripheral speed, the spike-shaped rotor and variable speed gives the best annular energy, between 1-14m/sec to he slurry/mill base and beads, in proportion with the nature of the slurry/mill base. Micro beads as small as 0.1mm diameters are chosen, depending on the mill base separator. Beads of glass, alumina, titania, zirconia, etc., in diameter of 0.1-2.0mm can be selected as a standard. The charging ratio of beads is 80%-90% of the vessel’s dispersion area.

■Completely Enclosed Vessel
The ring-like movement of the Inoue Key Mill (continuous) provides clearance between the vessel with a jacket and rotor to the slurry/mill base and beads in a double cylinder. The rotor revolves while milling, sharing, and dispersing force given by the special design shape on the surface of its rotor. A sketch on the previous page shows an application example of slurry/mill base tank and Inoue Key Mill (continuous).
■Ultra-fine Dispersion
Crash and impact force is used in the slim clearance where the most effective dispersion and milling are done. The feeding application enables a big volume of flow and circulation to reach the ultra-fine dispersion.
■Application Viscosity range
The applicable viscosity range for the Inoue Key Mill (continuous) is up to about 2 Pa.s. By adopting a wide area of screen for beads separation and annular design, the Inoue Key Mill makes it possible for its users to save costs of operation with small quantity beads charging.
■Cooling Efficiency
A very high cooling efficiency is established by the innovative structure of the vessel.
■Cleaning
The annular shaped rotor minimizes clearance of the vessel, enabling the reduction of residence space inside the vessel, minimizing cleaning time.
■Circularion Flow Volume(Discharge)
Even when micro beads are used, the Inoue Key Mill has a large capacity circulation flow volume.
■Supplemental Benefits
Power consumption is saved during premixing for beads mill with the Inoue Key Mill. Its design helps avoid sedimentation and secondary condensation in the slurry/mill base pipeline.
